Vitalis are recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to work in a Fostering team in Wigan.
This is a Recruitment and Assessment Adoption Social Worker role, within the regional adoption agency Together for Adoption. 
This position is for 4 days a week (29.6 Hours)
Together for Adoption is a Regional Adoption Agency for Wigan, Warrington, Halton, St Helens and Cheshire West and Chester local authorities. We are looking for a social worker who is experienced in fostering or adoption to play a vital role in the recruitment, assessment, and support of prospective adoptive parents. This will include engaging in the Initial and comprehensive assessments of adopters and supporting them through the approval and matching process, placement of child/ren and until the adoption order is granted. You will also have the opportunity to attend recruitment campaigns, provide a duty recruitment system, deliver Information sessions, preparation groups for adopters and additional training programmes as required.
